Welcome! Kick your shoes off (or don’t - up to you) and relax. My house is named Serenity (after the fictional spaceship, not the concept) and I make things here. It started with the need to take something that had outlived its usefulness and give it new purpose. For a year, the hits just kept coming and life left me shattered in a deep, dark hole. Some friends came over with wine (such good friends) and after they and the wine were gone, I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the adorable polka dot bottles. I had an overwhelming compulsion to transform these forlorn objects that had been emptied of their value and were destined for the dump into objects of beauty to liven up my home. This drive to create beautiful home accents quickly expanded to bookends, paintings, coasters, and wreaths. Even the idea for the coasters was born out of my need to redeem some of the paint that is poured off my flow art paintings. Thank you for stopping by and being a part of this journey with me.
